Description
The name is a reflection of the area's rich history and heritage. Wellington was the home of Dr Andrew Murray, who named his manse 'Clairvaux'. The area reminded him of the 'clear view' from the castle of St Bernard in France. The combination of Clairvaux and the Du Plessis family name gave rise to Du Plevaux.

The Du Plevaux range is our premium wines, made from only the best grapes, harvested on the Du Plessis-farm, where Imbuko Wines head office and bottling facility are situated. These vines have been nurtured all through the year and of the total harvest only a few tons of the very best grapes will be hand picked to make this truly remarkable wine. The true quality of viticulture, winemaking and a long family legacy ensures this wine's astonishing quality and is only equalled by the farms breathtaking view.
